Have you met Ace Quest yet? No? That's too bad, because he's big on charm, big on personality...Frankly, he's big on everything. Except, that is self esteem. Oh, and possibly will power. And really, if you get to it, his personality is only so-so. On second thought, maybe you shouldn't meet Ace Quest.
But the story really isn't about him, it's about us. You...me...the whole world. He's a catylist for us getting to know each other. Everytime we meet, he's there, yeah. We can't put out a game without him as a the “main” character. But it's not about him. It's about what happens to him, that affects our lives.
You might want to sit down for this...Ace Quest is the harbinger of doom. So we don't really like him. Everything bad that surrounds us can all be traced back to Ace Quest. Don't believe me? I didn't believe me either, but that was then. This is now, and there have been enough nows than thens for me to believe that I'm wrong about what I thought then now. Are we clear?
Ok...Maybe there's some hyperbole in what I said...just a little. Ace Quest isn't responsible for gingivitis or paper cuts. But he may be responsible for a little thing called global warming. He may have caused the global economic crisis we're in right now. He might be the reason your favorite show on tv got canceled. Have I peaked your interest yet? I thought as much.
It's too bad there isn't a game released to really showcase his story. Until then, if you have a story you'd like to share on how Ace Quest ruined your life, send it to me.
